A great selection of Tequila, totally cool and very knowledgeable proprietors, and very authentic and simple menu of Mexican food. Nice out door patio, and great margaritas! Pick your tequila, then they mix up a classic agave margarita.

Somehow we imagined a larger, more glitzy bar. This place has a rustic "Cheers" feeling - everybody knows everybody, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Selection of tequilas is Excellent, and all very modestly priced. The staff are well informed and willing to offer suggestions on new or unfamiliar brands. Food also was very well prepared and served. All in all, we passed a very pleasant afternoon, chatting in Spanish with a very charming young bartender/chef. We also had an opportunity to become acquainted with Larry Auman, the owner. Clearly, we share a passion for the tequila, and have a common desire to promote this most elegant spirit. Next visit we will explore the mezcales.
Mayahuel is highly recommended - be prepared to spend a few hours there.
