The smaller selection, I could live with (after all, there's no way that I could sample even 30 brands), but with that smaller selection came a higher price, and no specials like Maria's Flight of 3 Tequilas for $14. My biggest disappointment was when I ordered a Corralejo Reposado, and the server didn't know what it was, whereas at Maria's, even though there was a 30 minute wait for a table, the server not only took the time to explain the differences between Blancos and Reposados and Anejos, he also provided his favorite choices at my request. Because Juan Jaime's is in my neighborhood, I took a friend, and expected our visit to be an occasion. But between the overpriced (but good) food and the shaky service, I won't become a regular.
