I tasted this tequila in my home and used a Riedel glass for tasting. 374 ages their Anejo in American Oak barrels for 24 months which causes it to be golden in color. Intense floral aromas of this tequila are followed by moderate notes of vanilla and mild notes of caramel and fruit. In the mouth, the Anejo is medium to heavy and mellow. While the tequila is somewhat sweet, there is no bitterness. When examining the flavors of 374 Anejo, first impressions include moderate to intense floral accents with moderate agave, caramel, and vanilla on the backend. On a second sip, I noticed mild flavors of wood and fruit. When searching for deeper flavors upon tasting the tequila, one can taste hints of spice. Finishing with a long duration of flavor and numbing alcohol intensity, this tequila is somewhat light and mellow. I awarded 374 Anejo the rating of 88/89 points out of 100.
