Nose suggests dried fruit, honey and baked agave. First sip is semi-sweet with a creamy soft mouthfeel. An overreaching bitterness quickly develops as the nose deepens to include caramel, bitter spice and a pleasing earthy depth. Don Fulano opens up slightly in the body with wood and spice, and finishes slowly but with little distinction, mainly oak and earth. Overall it is a decent and attractively packaged anejo but maybe a little too bitter for this reviewer's taste.

In my opinion, a very good anejo. I like their line. Very consistent.

Aroma: Cooked agave, cinnamon, and earth.
Initial Taste: On the tip of the tongue, its very sweet with no bitterness.
Body: A very balanced agave, complemented nicely by wood, caramel and spice.
Finish: Of long duration, with no alcohol burn.
