A pleasant experience from start to finish. A very decent anejo. I'd say this is a good starter anejo since it's smooth with very low, if any bitterness.

Aroma: Floral (violet), slight butter, and slight vegetal (artichoke).
Initial Taste: An oily mouth feel, upon entry its sweet with no bitterness. Initial taste of butter.
Body: A nice woody agave, with hints of floral, earth, and caramel. Pretty nice!
Finish: A nicely heated finish of medium duration with a lingering of fruit and caramel.

Im looking forward to trying the rest of this line.

I tried this tequila at my home and tasted it in a Riedel glass. With a yellow golden color, this tequila has intense aromas of floral and vanilla. Other aromas include moderate caramel, earth, and fruit followed by mild spice. The tequila has a medium mouth feel and on the first sip is semi sweet with no bitterness. El Relingo Anejo has intense flavors of vanilla, floral, and caramel followed by moderate notes of fruit, agave, earth, and wood. With a long duration of flavor, tastes of mild spice bring this tequila to a numbing finish. El Relingo Anejo has received the rating of 90 points out of 100.
