Taste continues with mint and pepper with an underlying sweetness. The body has a medium-to-light mouth feel, a bit of oiliness - seems appropriate for a blanco. A quick, heated finish, with a nice aftertaste of mint and cinnamon.

It is a nice blanco with balance and complexity, although rather expensive. It would be a better value for $10 cheaper. They do have an attractive bottle.

After the first two I expect nothing short of greatness from this line. Tequila Alquimia has a great authentic quality that makes it unique. Bottoms up for the blanco...

Aroma: A ton of agave with nice floral aromas and just a hint of earth.
Initial Taste: A wonderful initial taste of cooked agave with floral notes and a hint of citrus zest.
Body: Still a huge taste of agave with floral notes, light earth and fruit.
Finish: Lots of agave pepper kick with lingering fruit and a bit of a numbing alcohol finish.

For people looking for a sipper with a ton of agave flavor, this fits the bill. From the sweet cooked agave entry to the spicy/peppery finish Alquimia Blanco shows why the entire line has the big authentic agave flavor. The bottle looks great and the juice is an overall winner. Even though it has a premium price tag, the juice merits it. Well done Mr. Murillo.

Tasted out of a snifter. I'm so glad I finally got around to getting a bottle of this. I am very impressed. A pretty consistent tasting throughout. An excellent sipper, and I can say I will definitely be getting another bottle. Excellent job Dr. Adolfo Murillo!

Aroma: A very intense aroma of floral and agave.
Initial Taste: A thin mouth feel. Upon entry it's sweet with no bitterness. First taste was floral.
Body: An intense agave body with great compliments of fruit and floral.
Finish: A semi heated finish of long duration, with a lingering floral aftertaste.

PS: Great cork top, it's nice to see someone is paying attention to that.

I tried this tequila out of a Riedel. With a clear color, this tequila has intense floral and earthy aromas. Other aromas include moderate spice and fruit with hints of smoke. The tequila has a thin mouth feel and on the first sip is sweet with no bitterness. Alquimia Blanco has intense flavors of floral and agave followed by moderate notes of fruit. With a medium duration of flavor, tastes of mild spice, earth, and smoke bring this tequila to a numbing finish. Alquimia Blanco has received the rating of 90 points out of 100.
