I've heard wonderful things and the price dictates that it better be good too. I guess we'll see...

Aroma: A lot of complexity for a blanco. Hints of spice, light fruit and a lighter agave scent than most blancos.
Initial Taste: Excellent entry. Lots of sweetness...some from agave, some from the resting. Complex for a blanco, not the agave punch that I'm used to.
Body: Medium body. Lots of agave, citrus and spice. Very well put together.
Finish: Shorter finish. Lacks the strong agave punch, but it is mellowed and is ultra smooth. Lots of lingering flavors...not a lot of peppery linger.

This is not your everyday blanco. It's well crafted and very tasty. The price of Excellia is expensive, but it's not a bad buy...but I wouldn't call it a good value either. All in all, this was a very nice tequila experience, but for what's out there in the marketplace, I wouldn't say to rush out and buy it.
