Appearance: Crystal clear
Aroma: Mild agave with citrus, vegetal, and ginseng (earthy wood) notes. A slight aroma of alcohol was also present.
Initial Taste: Agave, honey, vegetal notes, and black pepper. However, there was no alcohol burn.
Body: Buttery mouth feel and slow tears on the glass. The dominant flavors are agave and pepper.
Finish: Smooth medium length finish of sweet agave followed by a very peppery ending which makes it a little rough. After a few sips a slightly earthy or minty aftertaste became noticeable.
Price: RRP: $27.99
Presentation: An attractive contemporary blue bottle. The design certainly catches your eye on a crowded bar shelf.

Milagro Silver has garnered a lot of prestigious awards however, I was somewhat disappointed in my three tastings of it. It seemed to lack character and perhaps this was due to the triple distillation that it undergoes. It would probably make a good mixer but you can find better blancos in the $20 to $30 price range.

Bought at Trader's Joes at $19.99 for a 750 ml bottle. The bottle is sleek and cool. It says you're hip and young. Not much old-world tradition here. The overall taste is adequate, but not pronounced. I don't detect much vanilla or caramel flavor. The agave is not real strong and it's a little too alcohol for sipping. It's an okay margarita maker. I'd recommend it when you're looking for a change, but it's not one of my favorites. If you spend more, you'll get more. For the few dollars less I'd get Sauza Hornitos if you want something smoother. That said, you could do worse than Milagro. Like I said, it's okay for margaritas.

It wasn't exceptional but it was pretty good. I mixed margaritas with it. The bottle is okay.

I don't know what else to say really. All in all it was an average tequila.

Nose: Not very remarkable, simply smells like strong alcohol
Body: One of the nicer aspects about this tequila is how clear and pristine it looks
Finish: Probably the roughest part of the experience. As far as budget tequilas finishes way rougher than it's blanco counter parts like Corralejo, Espolon, Horinitos and Cazadores. The presentation is fairly elegant with beautiful blue bottle. It is worth noting that in the three bottles I had, the cork managed to sever when opening the bottle, a tall tail sign of cheap glue.

All in all this is clearly meant for mixing or shots. If you intend on sipping go for this brands Reposado which should only be a few dollars more. You should never pay more than $24 for a bottle.

Works very well in margaritas or other mixed drinks, but not really smooth or flavorful enough to want to drink straight. Very little character, a bit too much burn to be sipped regularly.

However, the price is right and the agave flavor and quality come out well in mixed drinks. The bottle is simple, but classy. A good, but not great tequila.

Strong alcoholic aromas. The presence of agave was not there. There are spicy notes. Has a bitter taste, in general not a good taste. It had a lot of astringency. The finish wasn't good, it burns. There are other cheaper tequilas that taste better. The positive thing I found is the presentation. It has a good design.

The initial aroma is blue agave, citrus, and a slight hint of pear. The aroma is beautiful in my opinion.
Upon first sip, Milagro has a very strong presence of blue agave and pepper flavors. What we smelled in the aroma earlier (pear and citrus) is completely overpowered by the blue agave and pepper taste as well as the moderately long alcohol burn.
Personally I like when my alcohol reminds me that I am drinking alcohol as it goes down, but I feel Milagro has a better initial aroma than actual taste and finish. Good tequila to take neat but would probably serve as a mixer for those of you that like really smooth tequila.

Nose is pleasing, but very mild agave and faint citrus. Very soft on entry it yields to mild agave, some minerals, and a bitter overtaste which persists through a hot and lengthy alcohol finish. It leaves a bitter, but not unpleasant aftertaste of mint. Overall it is an undistinguished blanco. I fully agree with the other reviewer who would best use it as a mixer.

Milagro is a decent tequila for what I paid (19 bux). But I think it would go better as a mixer rather than neat. Thats just my opinion.

Aroma: A pleasantly subtle aroma of smoke, pear, and vanilla.
Inital Taste: With an oily mouth feel, and a slightly bitter taste.
Body: Bitter taste turning into a strong agave presence with very spicy tones.
Finish: Of medium duration with alcohol burn.

Milagro Silver

Color: clear
Aroma: strong alcohol & citrus
Taste: pure agave with a very light almost water body, citrus & pepper with a numbing burn from initial taste to finish

Milagro Silver is a great priced pure unrested tequila to use in cocktails, neat or with ice for those of you who enjoy spicy food and/or just pure tequila. The bottle stands tall with it's blue ends and a wood/cork stopper.

NOM 1420 ? Tasted 3/12/07. The tequila is clear in color. Beginning with intense earth and floral aromas, the deeper aromas include moderate spice and fruit scents. On the tip of the tongue there is a mellow and soft sensation that is followed by a sweet and low bitter taste. Upon tasting, the tequila has intense floral and agave followed by moderate spice, earth, and fruity flavors. Milagro Silver tequila finishes with a medium duration of flavor and a numbing alcohol intensity. Overall, I rate this tequila at the ?B+? level.
