Sauza gold is a great starter for anyone interested in tequila on a budget. For its incredibly low price, this tequila tastes great shotted, mixed, and even sipped. I am very happy with the value i can get out of it and will probably almost always resort to Sauza when supplying drinks for parties or mixing.

Gold is gold but this one is better than Joe Crow or @ least this is how I see most Sauza products compared to Cuervo. The weak agave nose laced with alcohol progressed into a semi-sweet tasting spirit with hints of wood, more alcohol, & some vanilla. This all resulted in a medium body with a short finish. Sauza Gold is reasonably smooth, it's greatest attribute. Not a bad, inexpensive mixer.

So I will recommend this brand of tequila to all you margrita drinkers.
