It was available in my home town liquor store, and seemed to be sort of hard to find. So If you can find it be sure to get one. Everything was great about it. For a Repo it's as good as it gets. Very refined and balanced, nice and smooth and a long lingering finish., not to sweet, a perfect blend of agave and oak. I'm down to the last shot and planning to get another one real soon. overall solid rating of 94. ]]> Mon, 25 Jan 2016 07:13:06 +0000 <![CDATA[El Reformador Tequila Reposado: El Reformador is what I need]]> https://tequila.net/tequila-reviews/reposados/discussions/review.html?id=3426 https://tequila.net/tequila-reviews/reposados/discussions/review.html?id=3426 This is my second bottle of El Reformador. I picked this one up at my local Liquor store, for $45. and will try it in a shot glass. The aroma is mild with a bit of bitterness detected but no woodiness. Initial taste is pretty good but with a bit of heat, then it mellows into the finish which is very nice. a bit of spice and a hint of brown sugar but the taste is more on the herbal side. (horehound, licorice ) The body is medium and gets a better rating than the initial taste and aroma. The second sip is much smoother and the finish lingers much longer. This is a very enjoyable reposado and I will be buying it again when I finish this bottle. I would rate it higher if I could find it cheaper. but for now it's gonna get 90 points on the Tequila Richter scale. ]]> Mon, 21 Sep 2015 07:19:16 +0000
