Appearance: Pale straw color
Aroma: Nice aroma of agave, oak and vanilla with hints of fruit, spice and earth.
Initial Taste: Rich flavors of peppery agave, oak, nuts, honey, and baking spices.
Body: Medium body with slow tears on the glass and light, buttery mouth feel. The rich flavors balance each other nicely.
Finish: Medium-length, semi-sweet heated finish of peppery agave, honey and spices, which leaves a slightly earthy and bitter after taste.
Price: $19.99 to $59.99 (RRP: $35.99)
Presentation: An attractive contemporary brown bottle. The design certainly catches your eye on a crowded bar shelf.

Milagro Reposado has a nicely balanced and rich flavor profile initially. However, I didn’t care for the slightly heated, bitter and earthy finish. It would probably make a good mixer but you can find better reposados in the this price range.

It is widely available and the presentation was not very bad. Price is fair. Presentation nice. Not a premium tequila but one that can be taken as it for taste. Don't mix it, it is worth a try. Strong finish though.

For a person in the northern US, that is a real determining factor because too often stores have 20 or fewer total tequilas, it's a bonus when you can find something good and reasonably priced. I like many of the other Milagros, so I hope this is similar...

Aroma: Agave, vanilla, spice and a hint of earth.
Initial Taste: Agave, oak, dark fruit and vanilla. A very nice entry.
Body: Medium-thin body, not oily at all. Similar flavors to the start. The woody flavors are a bit more prominent. A little bit of citrus fruit as well
Finish: Earthy agave finish with a light pepper kick. Oak and citrus are still there as well in the medium length linger.

Overall this is a very good reposado. Factor in that it can be found in the mid $20 range and it's a really good value. Milagro also makes a great mixer. It's easy to find, it tastes good and the price is right. All good reasons to go and get yourself a bottle.

The body is not bad, the aroma is agave and alcohol (too alcoholic for me), the taste raw (not very comlex) and is most agave but the marked alcohol cut the enjoyability. The color is too clear (similar to a Joven or Mixto). I don't really like this one to take it straight in a shot glass (caballito) i prefer it on cocktails but i'll change it for a centenario reposado, el jimador or (of course) arette reposado if i could.

Enjoying it straight I noticed the nose had a good agave and floral scent. The entry is smooth and sweet, maybe an little thin, with a small amount of alcohol numbing. On my initial taste I found citrus, nice agave flavor, spice and tea leaves. There was also a very slight amount of vanilla and some grassy notes. The body was light to medium, with an oily feel. It had a nice long dry finish.
I do like the simplicity of the bottle, with the red hue and painted name.

Milagro Reposado is one of those rare cases where I actually enjoy the reposado more than the blanco. While I feel that Milagro blanco is a little bland, I felt like the aging brought out more of the flavors in this reposado.

Aroma: slight caramel and earthy notes.
Initial Taste: A very nice sweet on the tip of tongue with no bitterness. A semi oily mouth feel.
Body: A very subtle agave lightly complimented by carmel and spices.
Finish: A medium semi heated finish with no burn.

Milagro Reposado

Color: light golden hue
Aroma: agave, clay, smoke
Taste: chocolate chip mint ice cream with a medium mouthfeel and smooth burn in the finish

For the price I do not think you can find a better Reposado. Good for cocktails and great straight. My three favorite reposado at the time of this writing have to be Sol Azul, Casa Noble & Corralejo still. Though this Milagro is the Tequila to use for the party drinks.

I tried this tequila in a blind tasting at Zocalo out of a snifter. The tequila is a pale yellow color and is aged for 6 months. Milagro Reposado aromas consist of intense floral and fruit aspects followed by mild vanilla, spice, and earth. On the lighter side, this Reposado has a hint of smoke. On the tip of tongue, this tequila is mellow and has a medium mouth feel. While the tequila has moderate agave flavor, it has a medium amount of sweetness and a small amount of bitterness. The flavor of this tequila was intense earth, fruit, and floral followed by mild notes of chemicals and spice. Upon finishing this tequila, there is a medium-to-long duration of flavor and numbing alcohol intensity. I have rated this tequila at 86 out of 100 points.
