Frontera Grill is one of two fantastic Mexican restaurants at the same address. The other is Topolobampo. They share one bar and the Tequila selection consists of approximately 75 bottles. Frontera Grill uses fresh ingredients, often organic and custom grown, to bring you the bold flavors of Mexico.
The owner, Rick Bayles, has a weekly cooking, travel, and home entertaining show on many PBS Digital stations across the country called, "Mexico, One Plate at a Time." Their restaurants do take reservations which are recommended. They are located just north of the "Chicago Loop" and the Chicago River in the River North area.
