The "Best of the Best" Tequila, Mezcal, Sotol, Bacanora and Agave Spirits for 2011 awarded in this exclusive tasting event hosted by TEQUILA.net
The TEQUILA.net Awards is an exclusive, private tasting open to all submitted "Spirits of Mexico" within the last year. No entry fees were solicited or collected. Aficionados and industry professionals donated their personal time to accurately blind taste products from each category for over one week, pushing top contenders through multiple rounds, and arriving at the top products. Only the "Best of the Best" are awarded for each category.
Over 100 brands submitted 277 products to this honorable and highly respected tasting competition, making it the largest "Spirit of Mexico" tasting ever in the United States. The margins were extremely slim between each of the final winners of each category, and the spirits below are all considered TEQUILA.net's "Best of the Best" for 2011.
