Bought 1/10 on the advise of a friend, paid $60.00. Sampled from a 6 oz shot glass, neat. Aha Toro Anejo NOM-1079, first thing you'll notice is the fantastic bottle, it's a beautiful red with a stamped metal insert/label and a very nice synthetic cork that does a good job of closure. In the glass this anejo is a nice amber, the nose is weak, minimal agave and no alcohol. Leaves fast legs and forms small tears very quickly. Aha Toro is medium thin in the mouth and the first sensation is a sour note quickly followed by the alcohol burn that slowly begins to form on the roof of the mouth. Nice heated finish that has enough staying power to numb the tongue after a few oz's. Leaves a oak tinge in the mouth. Aha Toro is not real complex, and I'm not a big fan of sour in tequila or the fact that the nose is so faint. Presentation is the big draw here, after that it is down hill from there. I'll keep the bottle, but won't buy again.
