I have continued to go back to this bottle as a night cap and continue to be pleased with it. Great value in this anejo. I paid around 30$ on one of my last visits to the US. The nose is a great blend of skinned fruit with apricot and peach notes and just a touch of caramel. The initial taste yields the same peachy flavours with a hint of caramel and a touch of pepper yet really on the sweet side(almost to the point that I wondered if they had added agave nectar). This would be a great tequila to use as an introduction for non tequila drinkers.
The body is reasonably full and the finish is of decent length. Overall for the price this is highly enjoyable (its kept me from tapping into about 6 un-opened bottles) Price is exceptional for the product. The only flaw is that the presentation is too similar to Don Julio's line and rather plain, yet for the price I guess it would be hard to expect too much more.
