Revisiting Don Fernando. I loved the reposado and what I had read on the anejo looked promising. Upon pouring, this looks like a dark, rich anejo. Let's see how it tastes.

Aroma: Honey, Oak and spices (cloves)
Initial Taste: Rich caramel and toffee flavors. A bit of agave and oak too.
Body: Thick body. Tons of spices like cinnamon and cloves to go with the rich sweetness of the caramel and wood.
Finish: Medium-long and nice and spicy for an anejo. A slight dark chocolate bitterness with the dessert like sweetness. A really nice finish to a nicely aged anejo.

This is just flat out a great sipper. Nice rich flavors, nice tequila spiciness and a great nose and color. In the price range this is a very nice buy. I highly recommend it.
