I tried this in a mini snifter at room temperature at my local tequila bar.
The initial scent was fairly typical for an anejo, a good agave scent with a bit of an alcohol tinge.
The first sip has a fair agave flavor with a bit of a burn, but not too much. The burn does add up so at the end of the 1 1/2 oz, there was a slight numbing sensation.
Overall not a bad tequila, I was a bit disappointed since the bottle claims it has been aged for at least 3 years, yet it tasted about the same as most 12-18 month anejos.
This could be a good tequila to pick up, depending on the price. My local store doesnt carry it, but online prices vary from $35-$55. I would pay $40 tops, there's better for $45.
