Tasted on 12/15/08. paid $22 dollars for a bottle. For what you pay, this really is a decent tequila. I like to think of it as the 'poor mans don julio anejo. It has a lot of the same characteristics, but that makes sense since they are both from Atotonilco. Not great, but very decent.
Aroma: Strong hints of caramel and citrus.
Initial Taste: Initially, a thin mouth feel, with hints of vanilla, and smoke. No bitterness at all.
Body: Wood, agave, caramel, and a slight hint of grapefruit.
Finish: Of medium to long duration with no alcohol burn. With a lingering grapefruit like taste.
