For tequila drinkers, the name German Gonzalez is synonymous with quality tequilas. As a Master Distiller, he has created some gems over the years with Chinaco...one of the first premium brands ever imported into the US. He split off to form the T1 brand and has really put his heart and soul and his name behind this effort. I can't imagine it being anything less than great.
Aroma: The agave aroma fills the room the moment after you pour it. Compliments of fruit (pear) are present as well. A very sweet and pleasant aroma.
Initial Taste: Sweet agave with nice light fruit notes of pear and citrus. Very light and crisp.
Body: Medium to thin body. Again, a very agave forward body. Slight amount of earth are present and spicy agave punch begins to entice as well.
Finish: A medium linger that is near perfect for a blanco. Smooth agave and pepper are there, but there's no burn. It's very pleasing to relax and taste the purity of agave that there is in this blanco.
What left is there to say about this tequila. It has a premium price tag, but if you love a good blanco, you need to get out and buy a bottle of t1. It's a wonderful sipper and if you have the means to mix a bottle at this price, it will probably make an unreal cocktail. The flavors are that pure and crisp. The bottle screams class and the juice inside does as well. I'd highly recommend trying this one.
