Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Platino 2007 NOM 1122 Tasted on 11/23/07 at 7:00pm. I tried this tequila at the Davis Graduate Tequila Bar and tasted it in a snifter glass. This bottle comes with a wooden box. With clear color, this tequila has intense aromas of floral and earth. Other aromas include moderate spice and smoke with mild fruit accents. The tequila has a thin mouth feel and on the first sip is sweet with mild bitterness. Intense flavors of agave, earth, and smoke are followed by moderate notes of spice, chemicals, and floral flavors. With a medium duration of flavor this tequila finishes with a numbing finish.
