Oro de Oaxaca Mezcal

For generations, the production of the best Mezcal has been a passion of the Lopez Mateo family, which has devoted its efforts to achieve a product that exhibits in its preparation and taste, the tradition and wisdom of centuries of good Mezcal, while captivating the most demanding palates.

Mezcal Oro de Oaxaca, 100% Agave Espadin is emblematic of an old family tradition of quality and passion for the taste. Born in Matatlán, Oaxaca like their creators, in central valleys of Oaxaca, this young mezcal exhibits intense flavor, and the addition of the Maguey worm.

One of the elements that has given Mezcal its exotic reputation is undoubtedly the worm, born in the heart of the agave. Known as a maguey worm, it is added to many Mezcal products at the time of bottling, giving Mezcal an additional flavor.

This bottle is packaged with one small bag of "worm salt", prepared with salt, chile, and a mixture of roasted and ground maguey worms.
