Liquid Experience is right in the heart of the Haight/Ashbury district (which is both a good thing and a bad thing), Liquid Experience (nice acid reference) is one of the many shops along the legendary street. Thye have an amazing selection. Unfortunately, of the tequilas I looked at, this place is really over-priced (the Yelp reviews will back me up on this). That being said, I've yet to find a liquor store in San Francisco that has a bigger selection of premium tequilas, so they absolutely should be on this map. They've got a wall of it, and their buyer definitely knows his (or her) stuff. I felt like an explorer coming up on some beautiful golden monolith. It's a sight to behold. But sadly this big monolith is cursed with big prices. Such a shame, otherwise Liquid Experience would be THE destination for tequila in San Francisco. But if price is no object when it comes to that obscure tequila you just gotta have, it may still be THE destination for you. Big props on the selection.
