Very Smooth with very good smell, fruit and marked agave flavour, long final that pass and let in your mouth a smooth sense that tell you that is time for another sipp, personaly i like this one to take it straight in a shot glass, because you don't fell the alcohol in the throat, it pass smooth and simple.

The price is fair for wath you obtain but certainly is not a cheap tequila, the bottle and case are collectors items.

Highly recommended.

Altamente recomendado.

my first bottle of 42 and the nose of this tequila is amazing, really warm and inviting, fruit and vanilla were the first things i noticed when i opened the bottle. Great introduction to sipping tequila as only the slightest hint of alchohol burn was quickly extinguished by the multitude of flavours and warmth that led to a beautiful smooth finish with a lovely long aftertaste.
Am searching for the perfect tequila and this is a very good start.

Absolutely Incredible doesn't even begin to describe this bottled perfection. I cannot believe the quality and smoothness of this tequila for its price. Paid $99 and it is as good or better than many bottles costing 3x as much. Only downside is it doesn't have the most striking presentation.

Caramel and Vanilla are the two most noticeable smells and flavors. A little fruity, slight hint of the oak, and a silky smooth finish. I mean almost ZERO alcohol burn. A great sipping Tequila. Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT just shoot this.

I'm hooked for life!

Wow, joy in a bottle! First tried at Morels in Las Vegas, this was an exquisite addition to the evening I did actually said Wow when I first breathed in this gorgeous tequila and said it again after my intial taste. Caramel and vanilla explode into a buttery smooth finish, very little oak(compared to most anejos). Tremendous effort!!!
I purchase a bottle a few weeks ago and opened it on saturday night for some friends it was definately a fan favorite. Price is actually good when I compare to some of the other ultra-premium anejos but the presentation is really average. Better presentation like Cabo Uno for instance and I would gladly shell out an extra 50-100 dollars

Personally I am a blanco guy, because of the agave presence but upon pouring myself a nice glass of this beautiful honey colored anejo, I could not help but notice the strong vanilla and hazelnut aromas which emanated from the bottle and my glass.
The initial taste is smooth and sweet, slight honey flavor, but as you breathe it opens up, but remains smooth throughout and there is a strong vanilla and hazelnut presence in flavor. It has a medium body, in fact it seems a bit light for an anejo. The finish is medium long and leaves a sweet pleasant flavor in one's mouth. No alcohol burn whatsoever.
Hands down one of the smoothest and most unique tasting tequilas, that have ever crossed these lips.
The bottle is ok, but I do not like the plastic screw top. I feel like cork would have done it more justice.
I received this bottle as a gift and even though I cannot see myself spending over $100 for a resposado or an anejo, this tequila definitely deserves your time and attention.
