Tequila Mañana Blanco

Mañana Tequila Blanco: the taste of pure joy. Mañana Blanco goes from the still to the bottle, preserving a pristine taste of Agave and its unique bouquet. An ideal aperitif with smooth and full flavor, to be enjoyed straight with a chaser of Sangrita.

People will never forget that when you try to do things well, we need to learn to wait, that's why it was named this way, Mañana Tequila. Unique Smoothness.

A unique addition, a miniature metal sculpture recessed in each bottle displaying Mr. Panchito resting in his hammock between 2 palm trees, and holding a bottle of Tequila. (3rd photo)

After tasting mezcals, bacanora's, and sotols lately, I tasted a similar smokey taste here. Not sure if I wanted that here in my tequila. It might be overcooking of the pina's, the yeast used in fermentation, or the profile they wanted. The nose had sweet, floral, alcohol, vegetal, peppery and spicy aromas. Initial taste was light oil, smokey and hot, into a spicy/peppery, hot, bold and smokey body taste. The finish was hot and spicy but ended quickly. I could see how some may like this somewhat complex taste. Long Island Lou

Tasted out of a riedel glass. Tequila Manana stands out among the barrage of new brands coming out right now. The main theme that comes to mind with this line is grassy and sweet. The owners have alot of pride in this line and it shines through in the product. Slightly overpriced IMHO, but a great product.Saludos!

Aroma: A sweet aroma full of grass and berry.
Initial Taste: A nice sweet, creamy like entry. A thin mouth feel with no bitterness or heat. Initial taste of sweet berry.
Body: A decent agave body, although not as bold as I had hoped it would be, following that nice entry. I also detected grass, and berry.
Finish: A lightly heated finish full of sweet berry. Of short duration. But I like the finish as it was because it almost match the entry. it just worked well for this tequila.

Tequila Manana NOM 1414. 35% alc. Tasted two ozs. in a snifter on 1/4/09 at my home Tequila Bar. I picked this bottle up on a recent trip to Cozumel. It was a part of a throw in with a bottle of Manana Anejo both for $37.00! I took notice that the NOM was that of the distilery Feliciano Vivanco, makers of Muchote. Nose was pleasant with scents of both vanilla & floral. The agave flavor was rather smooth, mild to moderate but lacking in the earthiness necessary to make this a tequila worth sipping. The body was thin and slightly oily. It finished with a mild short numbing sensation. The bottle shape & design is attractive for collecting. I have only been able to find this tequila on my trips to Mexico and not in any of my local area retail shops. It might be best enjoyed chilled neat by new tequila drinkers or as a 100% agave mixer.
