Tequila 1800 Coleccion Anejo
In the world of Tequila, handcrafted 1800 Coleccion Tequila stands above all others and represents the ultimate gift for tequila connoisseurs. A work of art that can be appreciated by all senses.
This singular tequila is the result of a lengthy handcrafted production process meticulously supervised by our great experts. The process begins with the best selection of quality agaves that have reached a maturing stage of no less than 10 years.
Following our tradition, the agaves are steam cooked for several days in stone ovens obtaining a very select extract which is distilled twice, followed by several years of slow aging in new French oak casks.
When it reaches the peak of aging, the Tequila Master performs the "marriage" of the finest selection of aged tequilas. The result is 1800 Coleccion, an aged tequila with a silky consistency and a deep golden color, a smooth mellow taste with a subtle touch of almond, revealing a very special ditictive flavor.
The design of the decanter in pewter expresses the unique style of Alejandro Colunga, born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico in 1948. He studied architecture by considers himself a self-taught plastic artist, since in his search for self-expression he has been probing and experimenting, with master handcraftmen, the time honored and traditional techniques of Mexico, in graphic arts, as well as ceramics and sculpture. In this way, he has transformed clay, wood, ceramic and bronze into works of art of extraordinary quality, admired in Mexico as well as worldwide.
