Tequila San Matias Gran Reserva Extra Añejo

Tequila San Matias Gran Reserva Extra Añejo - This 100% Agave Tequila is produced from Highlands Agave, and aged for over 3 years in French Oak barrels.

Taste over 123 years of experience and tradition in Casa San Matias Tequila products.

Note: There are currently 2 San Matias Gran Reserva products in bars and liquor stores (2010), the previous Anejo was not 100% Agave, and this new Extra Anejo is now labeled as 100% Agave Tequila.

Enjoyable, solid, quality tequila. I didn't find it particularly memorable.

Tasted out of a snifter. This is one of my favorite brands. I love their entire line and this Tequila is no exception. A very consistent line.

Aroma: A nice almost cherry like aroma. Nice!
Initial Taste: No bitterness upon entry with an oily mouth feel.
Body: A very nice agave body, even after three years of aging! The agave body is complimented by vanilla, and spicy oak.
Finish: A nice semi heated finish witha cherry like lingering.

Well done!
