Bought August 2011 for $17.95 in Portland, OR while shopping for low-cost 100% agave repos. So far this is my favorite from repos available in this price range available in my area (limited selection due to OLCC control of liquor sales). Has a nice initial taste on the tongue with no single strong taste coming to the front, some agave, wood, caramel, maybe a little fruity, but nothing that stands out. Decent heat on the finish but not strong or harsh. No unpleasant tastes or aftertastes...a very balanced repo...if I was guessing price from blind tasting I would have guessed it was a more expensive repo. Summary: nothing astonishing in the flavor profile, but nothing disappointing, very balanced and smooth short finish...for this price an outstanding repo and a good choice for everyday drinker and makes great margaritas.
